The Beehive Montpellier

Well, by now hopefully you are aware of our event on Monday 18th May at The Beehive Montpellier in Cheltenham
Although he was full of cold on the day we met, Steve the landlord could not have been more welcoming! He showed me the stunning function room which I hadn't even known I took a sneaky pic for you:
The Beehive Montpellier function room.

I do think this is going to be the perfect venue,  It's a really 'proper pub' with a real mix of  followers and local ales and ciders on tap.

On The Beehive website it says: Now rated one of the one of the TOP 6 REAL ALE pubs in Cheltenham, it offers a wide range of locally-sourced real ales. These Include favourites from Cotswold Lion and Prescott Brewery both of which are based here in Cheltenham.  It also features ciders from Westons at Much Marcle in Hereford, Aspalls from Suffolk and has added draught Cornish Rattler from Healeys Farm in Cornwall.
In addition, you can choose from a ever changing  selection of wines, all available by the glass and by the bottle, something suitable for everybody's palette.
The Beehive Beer Board
Butcombe Bitter - ABV 4.0% - £3.30 per pint
Timothy Taylor Landlord - ABV 4.3% - £3.70 per pint
Bees Knees - ABV 4.3%- £3.30 per pint
Moles - Rucking Mole - ABV 4.5% - £3.30 per pint

Why not go along before our Speed Dating night to get a feel for the venue so you feel even more relaxed on the night?  Weekend nights are always busy and fun but The Beehive hosts all sorts of events like......

Love Engine is born......

Well, here we idea is on the verge of becoming a reality.  I met husband number 2 (the current one, I might add!) at a Speed Dating event in 2011.  Namely the Isle of Wight Speed Dating Walk!  Neither of us went with any intention of meeting a 'significant other' funnily enough.  He had just moved to the area and wanted to meet local people, and I was on a weekend away and just thought it would be a laugh!
I guess this goes to prove two things: not every member of the opposite sex at a Speed Dating Event is taking it too seriously, but, just never know where it could take you.
So, from this.....Love Engine has come into existence. I've had my Logo professionally designed and I love it......
Tomorrow I'm off to look at a venue in Gloucester where the manager is very interested in me running a Speed Dating night soon.  I'll be on here to let you know when and where it is as soon as we have fixed a date.
By this weekend I should have the first phase of my website up and running where you can view upcoming events, download an application form, read this blog and learn more about Love Engine and Speed Dating.
I hope you'll join me on my Love Engine blog journey, whether you are interested in coming to an event or if you are just taken with our story.
